First day in Les 2 Alpes

Auto matka vierähti hieman eilen joten oltiin vasta myöhään yöllä perillä. Se ei kuiteskaan estäny lähtemistä aamulla rinteeseen. Rinteet oli hyvässä kunnossa ja sää vielä paremmassa. Aurinko paistelee pilvettömältä taivaalta ja lämpätila on reilusti yli +30. Toivottavasti sää pysyy yhtä hyvänä koko seuraavan viikon.

The car trip took longer than expected so we arrived late at night. That didn't prevent us from hitting the slops on the morning. The slopes were in good shape and the weather was even better. Sun was shining from a cloudless sky and the temperature was well over 30 celcius. Hopefully the weather will stay as good for the whole week. I hope I look like a panda when I go back to Kilpisjärvi 

to Les deux Alpes

Tämä päivä on vierähtäny autossa istuessa, pakkaillessa ja kavereita tapaamassa. Lähdin aamulla Kilpisjärveltä kotia kohti ja olin perillä viiden aikoihin. Voitelin laudat, äiti pesi vaatteet ja pakkasin kamat kasaan. Illalla lähimmä kaverin kanssa lonkkaroimaan (ite otin kuvia, koska oma lonkkari ei ole vieläkään tullu....) ja samalla tuli kierreltyä Rovaniemeä mäkiä ettiessä, mutta päädyttiin kuitenki vanhaan tuttuun paikaan. Nytten kaikki tavarat pitäs olla mukana ja laukutki sopivan painosia, ettei Rovaniemen lentokenttä tätien tarvitte alkaa laskuttamaan lisää. Aamulla kone lähtee 9.15 ja perillä Milanossa olenki kuuden aikoihin josta on muutaman tunnin ajomatka Ranskan puolelle....

Today has been spent sitting in a car, packing and seeing friends. I left from Kilpisjärvi towards home and arrived around five o'clock. I waxed the boards, mommy washed my clothes and I packed it all up. In the evening I went with a friend for some longboarding (I was photographing, since my own longboard hasn't still arrived...) and at time same time managed to gallivant around Rovaniemi a bit looking for hills, but ended up in the old familiar place. Now all the stuff should be packed and the luggage is of suitable weight, so the check-in personell on the Father Christmas's airport won't have to charge me some more. The plane leaves at 0915 in the morning and will arrive in Milano around six o'clock local time, from where we'll be driving some few hours to France.

Kilpisjärvi

Viime tekstistä onki jo kuukauden verran. Sillä välin selkä on kerenny parantua ja kesälomakin on alkanut. Kesällä meillä on viikottainen treeniohjelma jota noudatetaan, joten joka päivä on ainaki jotaki tekemistä. Tänään tulin Kilpisjärvelle, täällä vietänki koko kesän kesätöiden parissa. Kahden viikon päästä menen käymään lumileirillä Ranskan, Les deux Alpesissa.

It's been over a month since the last post. Since then my back has had time to heal and summer holidays have begun. For the summer we have a weekly training schedule to follow, so something for every day. Today I arrived at Kilpisjärvi, and will be staying for almost the whole summer for summerwork. In two weeks I'll be attending a snowcamp at Les Deux Alpes, France.
